Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) Application

The State of California accepts applications from qualified schools and institutions for inclusion on the Statewide Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) on an on-going basis. All schools or institutions requesting consideration for inclusion on the statewide Eligible Training Provider List, must either possess current and verifiable Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) accreditation, accreditation from another State of California approved accrediting organization (such as WASC, ACCJC, ACSWASC, etc.)  or exemption status allowing the school or institution to operate in the State of California. Links are included below to the BPPE approval applications for accredited and non-accredited institutions.

Persons interested in additional information regarding the Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009, and related rules and regulations, can go to the BPPE website by CLICKING HERE. The OCDB will also conduct continuing eligibility annually to ensure that all programs meet eligibility requirements beyond the period of initial eligibility. Failure to meet Subsequent Eligibility results in delisting from the ETPL.
